Who this policy covers

Bad Herring is an independent app label of Pling och Plong in Sweden. This policy applies to Bad Herring Meme Creator version 1.0 for macOS.

Files, photos and recordings

You choose which files and Photos items to import. If you use recording, macOS asks for access to the selected camera, microphone or screen. Export sharing sends a video to the destination you choose using Apple’s system sharing controls.

Imported media, saved projects, edits, preferences and generated previews remain in the app’s local storage. The app does not send this content to a Bad Herring server and includes no advertising or analytics service.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. Meme Creator uses Apple’s StoreKit service to check whether permanent export access is available and to restore purchases. Bad Herring does not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Retention and deletion

You can remove local data using the app’s library controls and the operating system’s app-storage controls. Removing the app or its local data does not necessarily remove purchases held by Apple.
