Help with Screen Time access, selecting apps and categories, starting a blocking session, and restoring purchases.
Contact
Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version, what you selected, and what happened. Do not send Apple Account credentials or payment information.
Apps are not blocked
- Open Dumb Phone and make sure Screen Time access is allowed.
- Choose at least one app or category, tap Save, then start Dumb Phone.
- A selected category blocks every app that iOS places in that category; you do not need to select each app separately.
- If authorization was revoked in iOS Settings, allow it again and repeat the selection.
Changing the selection
Open Dumb Phone, choose Edit blocked items, change the selection in Apple’s activity picker, and tap Save. Dumb Phone receives privacy-preserving tokens rather than your full installed-app list.
Purchases
Dumb Phone Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Apple handles payment and purchase history; Bad Herring does not receive your payment-card details.
Privacy
Dumb Phone does not create an account or send Screen Time information to Bad Herring. Read the full Dumb Phone privacy policy.
